  • Interesting discussion regarding changing culture. I think the only way to change a culture of this size, strength and one which is so embedded is to force it, particularly with things like drinking and being in the sun which are Australian through and through.

    Scare campaigns will do nothing. I believe the only reason we stopped wasting water and smoking was because laws were tightened. Water restrictions were implemented and the laws on purchasing and advertising cigarettes were tightened.

    Until laws are introduced, people will continue to drink and will continue to tan on the beach.

    Also, I think the term "Winners and Losers" is already being used over at Jaffe Juice. Maybe you can "interview" him next week about it. ;)
